Cookie Policy

This policy describes the browser storage CrispScribe uses for recordings, transcripts and optional sign-in.

1. Cookies

The current site does not require a guest-session cookie and does not use an analytics or advertising tracker. Cloudflare may set security cookies when needed to protect the website.

2. Browser storage

The current local-first app keeps the following information in your browser. It is not uploaded or synced to another device.

• crispscribe-local (IndexedDB): audio files, transcripts, language, duration, timestamps and Trash status. Library items remain until you delete them. Trash items are purged after 30 days when the app is open or next loaded.
• crispscribe.auth (local storage): optional Supabase sign-in session data, including tokens. It remains until you sign out, the session expires or you clear browser storage.
• crispscribe.terms.accepted (local storage): the Terms version and time you acknowledged the Terms and Privacy Policy when signing in.
• Browser model cache: speech-model files from Hugging Face and ONNX Runtime files from jsDelivr may be cached by the browser for later use.

3. Managing storage

Delete individual recordings from the app or clear site data in your browser. Clearing site data may permanently remove recordings and transcripts. Clearing sign-in storage may sign you out. Your browser may also clear or evict local data when storage is low.

4. Changes

If CrispScribe adds optional preferences, analytics or advertising storage, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by law.
